Inception is one of those mind boggling movies that gives your brain a proper work out as you try to follow what’s happening…
For us, the nativity is not so hard to follow as we’ve got the whole picture, but for the different characters who were just minding their own business and got caught up in the history changing story – it must have been a bit mind boggling.
I can’t imagine what it must have been like to watch the night sky and endeavour to work out what the constellations were saying, or having a child born amongst the animals and then being visited by the local shepherds or any of the characters who had angelic visitations and dreams.
Some says, that ever ‘gainst that Season comes;
Wherein our Saviours Birth is celebrated,
The Bird of Dawning singeth all night long:
And then (they say) no Spirit can walk abroud,
The nights are wholesome, then no Planets strike,
No Fairy takes, nor Witch hath power to Charme:
So hallow’d, and so gracious is the time.
Shakespeare : From Hamlet, Act. i scene i.
